Medical Marijuana Legal Expert to Speak at Schaumburg Library

Employers and employees are invited to attend "Business Facts About Medical Marijuana" at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 25, in the Rasmussen South Room of the Schaumburg Library, 130 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg.

Presenter Bob Morgan, health care regulatory and policy attorney, will share information about national and state policies, as well as case studies. Registration is required for this free program.

Morgan was the first statewide project coordinator for the State of Illinois Medical Cannabis Pilot Program, during which time he developed and implemented a regulatory framework for the use of cannabis by eligible patients. He will provide facts to help attendees better understand the legalities of medical marijuana, and answer audience questions.
