Senior Helpers Wins 2017 Caregiver Friendly Award From Today's Caregiver Magazine

Being a caregiver is an extremely challenging job. It is one of the most difficult jobs you could face in your lifetime.
"We understand that family caregivers face emotional, physical and financial hardships, and we aim to relieve at least some of the burden associated with caring for an elderly loved one," said Bob Tucker, a qualified dementia care provider (QDCP) and co-owner of Northbrook-based Senior Helpers serving the north and northwest suburbs to the Wisconsin border. Founded in 2001, Senior Helpers' goal is to help seniors who wish to remain in their homes despite age-related illnesses and mobility challenges.

If you are concerned about a loved one, Senior Helpers, as the Alzheimer's Foundation of America Cares Affiliate office for Chicagoland, has established an Alzheimer's/Dementia/Parkinson's Care Resource Center for the community with materials-books, articles, magazines and DVDs that can be checked out free of charge.
Senior Helpers also provides trained professional caregivers from one hour per week to 24/7 live-in when needed.
