Life's a picnic at Schaumburg Park District

Join Schaumburg Park District at Atcher Island for the first Summer Picnic of the season!

The District's annual Summer Picnic series, sponsored by Schaumburg Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank, is set for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., July 20 at Atcher Island, 730 S. Springinsguth

Road. Bring the whole family and enjoy unlimited use of an inflatable moon-bounce, swimming, games, face-painting, barbeque and music.

"The Summer Picnics are always a big hit with the kids and their families," said Heather Hagstrom, aquatics supervisor. "With all of the different games and activities that we have, there's something for

every kid."

Admission is $5 per person and includes all activities, choice of a hot dog or brat, chips and a drink. Registration is not required.

The second Summer Picnic will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Aug. 10 at Volkening Lake, 900 W. Schaumburg Road.
