Glendale Animal Hospital Moves to State-of-the-Art Clinic

Glendale Animal Hospital has moved into a new facility that offers high-quality veterinary care, improved treatment areas, a glass-enclosed ICU recovery center, digital technology and dedicated suites for surgery, dental procedures, and radiology.

The new hospital, which is just behind the former building at 1114 Main St., Glendale Heights, welcomed its first patients on May 30. While most pets don't enjoy a visit to the vet, all of the furry visitors and their human parents have given the new facility two paws up. Max, a 10-year old cat, was impressed with the separate cat-friendly entrance, waiting room, and designated exam room while Daisy a poodle-mix enjoyed sampling a few treats.

Lori Civello, DVM, has owned Glendale Animal Hospital for 20 years. "I'm excited to open the new hospital during this milestone year," said Civello. "Our staff has always been dedicated to keeping pets well, treating them when they are ill and providing education to help pet parents keep their best friends happy and healthy," she said. "The new hospital gives us more space and opportunities than ever before."

Contractors are continuing to finish projects, including taking down the old building and improving parking. "We appreciate the community's support over the past 20 years, and look forward to inviting everyone to an open house in the Fall." said Civello.

Glendale Animal Hospital is open seven days-a-week. To learn more about hours and services go to http://www.glendaleanimal.com or call 630-858-3530.
