Faith Lutheran Church Presents Organ Dedication Recitals

On Tuesday, June 20, at 7 PM Faith Lutheran Church held the first of three organ dedication recitals. The new organ which is one of the Rogers Infinity Organ series uses digital technology and antiphonal speakers. The guest organist at the first recital was Pastor Aaron Christie. Pastor Christie is presently administrative pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waukesha WI. The recital included music from J. S. Bach, Charles Vierne, Jan Mulder and Jenhan Alain. The second recital was held on June 27 by Pastor Lloyd Harter, pastor at Faith, and Ms. Mandy Treder, teacher and director of music at St. John in Wauwatosa WI. The third recital will be held at 7 PM on July 11 with Mr. Jason Snodie, teacher and director of music at Faith Lutheran church and school. All three organists have Master degrees in church music with emphasis in organ from Concordia University Wisconsin. Faith Lutheran Church is located at 24300 Grass Lake Road in Antioch.
