Local Kiwanis foundation taking applications for funding
The St. Charles Noon Kiwanis Foundation Charities is now accepting applications for funding for organizations serving children.
The general criteria for funding consideration are as follows: we will only fund specific programs, and not general administrative expense; the program must benefit youth in St. Charles ZIP codes 60174 or 60175, or within the boundaries of St. Charles Unit District 303; and the organization must operate without discrimination of any kind.
The St. Charles Noon Kiwanis Club, founded in 1964, has become an integral part of the community ever since. Over the years, Kiwanis Foundation Charities has helped many organizations in the Fox Valley through donations of manpower and money. The mission of Kiwanis International is to serve the children of the world - one child, one community at a time.
The deadline is Friday, Aug. 4.
All requests for consideration must be received by St. Charles Noon Kiwanis Charities on the application form, which may be received by contacting Mike Linkimer at sclinks@comcast.net.
