Join habitat restoration work day June 24

A habitat restoration work day will be held at Bliss Woods Forest Preserve from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 24.

The task at hand is to pull the very invasive hedge parsley. Long sleeves and long pants are a must and gloves.

Bliss Woods is on Bliss Road just northeast of Route 47 in Sugar Grove. Bliss Road is under construction in that area so check the Kane County Division of Transportation website at www.co.kane.il.us/dot/constProjects.aspx for information on how to get to the forest preserve entrance.

Refreshments will be served.

Anyone younger than age 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

For more information, email Mary Ochsenschlager at maryoxie@sbcglobal.net or call the Kane County Forest Preserve at (630) 232-5980.
