Anonapalooza returns July 16

A Man in Recovery Foundation and Hope Outreach Foundation will co-host the ninth annual Anonapalooza Family Summer Fest on Sunday, July 16.

The festival will be held from noon to 6 p.m. at Good Templar Park, 528 East Side Drive, Geneva.

Featuring six local musical bands, the festival also hosts family friendly activities and includes children's games, face painting, bounce house, and raffle.

Scheduled performers include Beth Carlson, Henry Staggers Band, Gary Steczo, Phil Circle, Treeshakers and Loose Cannons. Special guests will be Brandon Novak, skateboarder, author and reality TV personality; Tim Ryan, founder of A Man In Recovery, motivational speaker and author of "From Dope to Hope: A Man in Recovery"; and The Murph from Hope Outreach.

Cost for this event is free, but donations are gratefully accepted.

All proceeds will go toward the support of services for individuals recovering from alcohol and substance use disorders.
