MikelParis to release TuneTrek video at Aurora Regional Fire Museum

The Aurora Regional Fire Museum welcomes the return of MikelParis, Keys with O.A.R., to release a new music video filmed at the museum.

The video release and short performance will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, June 30, at the museum, 53 N. Broadway in Aurora.

Last December, MikelParis visited the museum to film the 50th episode of his YouTube series, "TuneTrek."

"TuneTrek" explores historic landmarks while he is on tour playing music with O.A.R. and tells the stories of these interesting locations through photography, video, and an original song that he writes and performs at each location.

His visit to the Aurora Regional Fire Museum was both his first fire station and first site in Illinois.

"I am so excited that the museum is able to be a part of this special performance. It is great to see artists finding inspiration in our building and bringing recognition to Aurora," stated Clare Augustine, board member.

Tickets are on sale for $10, with all proceeds benefiting the Aurora Regional Fire Museum. Tickets can be purchased at www.eventbrite.com. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. There is free parking near the museum.

The Aurora Regional Fire Museum preserves the history of the Aurora Fire Department and fire service in our region through our collections and exhibits while educating visitors about fire safety and prevention.
