17th annual Huntley car show to benefit Special Olympics

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 17, Tom Peck Ford of Huntley, 13900 Auto Mall Drive, will host the 17th annual car show to benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois.

All vehicles makes and models are welcome with a $10 donation. Admission to the show is free. Trophies will be awarded. Ghost Ryder will perform live from noon to 3 p.m. and PJ Fuzzy Dice will provide music throughout the show. All donations collected during the show will benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois.

Tom Peck Ford also will host a Drive4URCommunity event during the show. For every valid test drive Ford will donate $20 to Special Olympics.

The Huntley Police Department and other community members will be at the show selling 2017 Law Enforcement Torch Run merchandise and raffle tickets for a Harley Davidson Motorcycle, all while raising awareness and spending time with local Special Olympic Athletes.

Special Olympics Illinois supports over 22,600 athletes with intellectual disabilities and more than 19,000 young athletes ages 2-7 with and without intellectual disabilities from communities throughout the state including Huntley.
