VNA Health Care, Fox Valley Park District host Summer HealthFest June 21

VNA Health Care and Fox Valley Park District will host Summer HealthFest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at VNA Health Care, 400 N. Highland Ave. in Aurora.

This free event is a community celebration on the first day of summer and everyone is welcome to attend. The event includes games, Zumba, snacks and refreshments.

Parker, the Fox Valley Park District mascot, will make an appearance. Gandi the Juice Guru visit VNA every Wednesday during the summer farmers market. Produce and juice area available for purchase from these vendors.

Children entering kindergarten, fifth, or ninth grade can get their school physical at the event. Appointments are not needed, but parents should bring the child's immunization record.

VNA accepts Aetna Better Health, Blue Cross Community, Family Health Network, Harmony, and Meridian health plans.

All children who complete their school physical at one of VNA's locations in Aurora between June 21-30 will receive a free pass from the Fox Valley Park District. The free pass can be used for admission to Splash Country Water Park, Phillips Park Aquatic Center, Blackberry Farm, or Vaughan, Eola, or Prisco fitness centers.
