Advocate Health Care Hospitals Named to Modern Healthcare's 2017 Best Places to Work List

Four Chicago area hospitals within the Advocate Health Care system been recognized among the nation's top 150 Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare. The recognition program honors workplaces throughout the healthcare industry that empower employees to provide patients and customers with the best possible care, products and services. The 2017 list of recognized companies was published earlier this month.

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, and Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin each applied and were selected for the 2017 list.

Now in its tenth year, Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work program recognizes exemplary United States companies in the health care industry that provide exceptional work environments to recruit and retain the best employees. Responses to an employee survey and an employer questionnaire help determine the winners. Employees rate job satisfaction, work-life balance, benefits and more.

The Modern Healthcare Best Places to Work in Healthcare 2017 rankings will be announced live at an awards gala on September 28, 2017 at the W Las Vegas.
