Immanuel-Batavia to offer 'Maker Fun Factory' VBS

A summer kids' event called "Maker Fun Factory VBS" will be offered on June 19-23 at Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Batavia.

At "Maker Fun Factory," kids discover that God made them - and for a purpose! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God's love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they'll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Funshop Finale that gets everyone involved in living what they've learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 11:15 a.m. in the gym.

Families participating in the vacation Bible school are invited to donate school supplies for CHIP IN Batavia, a local organization that assists children in need in the Batavia school district. The supplies will be distributed to the children prior to the start of the 2017-18 school year.

"Maker Fun Factory" is for kids from age 3 to those entering fifth grade. It will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 19-23.

For more information, call (630) 879-7163 or visit immanuelbatavia.org/page/vacation_bible_school to download a registration form or to register online.
