​ COD Fashion Students Earn Honors During Annual Fashion Show

Eight Fashion Studies students at College of DuPage earned honors during the annual student fashion show "Dimensions." Click here for photos.

Theadora Iacobellis (Elmhurst, above right) also received a $5,000 scholarship from the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Inc. (FCCLA).

The award recipients are Ibtisam Younis (Glen Ellyn), Most Outstanding Freshman Designer; Whitney Stahl (Lisle), Runner-Up, Most Outstanding Freshman Designer; Quang Tran (Carol Stream), Most Outstanding Sophomore Designer; Li Sheng (Chicago), Runner-Up,

Most Outstanding Sophomore Designer; Theadora Iacobellis (Elmhurst), Judges Choice - Outstanding Individual Garment; Ellen Swartz (Streamwood), Judges Choice - Outstanding Individual Garment; Shelly Gupta (Naperville), Outstanding Individual Garment; and Jackie Rose Bullard (Lisle), Judges Choice - Creativity.

In addition, regional high school students were invited to submit their designs for a College of DuPage faculty critique. The following awards were presented during "Dimensions": Anelise Walker from Neuqua Valley High School, Best Embellishment; Izabelle Neuen Kirchen from Metea Valley High School, Best Construction; and Gabriella Delson from Hinsdale Central High School, Overall Creativity.
