Time to kick off the Bartlett Library's Summer Reading Club

It's time to grab some good books and enjoy that sunshine because the Bartlett Library's Summer Reading is back on Tuesday, May 30 - Sunday, July 30.

How to sign up:

Youth - Visit the Library to join the Summer Reading Club. Everyone who completes the program will earn a t-shirt, free book and other amazing prizes.

Teen - Sign up online and log your reading to start earning prizes.

Adult - Why should kids have all the fun? Register for the Adult Summer Reading Club online or in person beginning Monday, June 5. Then log your reading for a chance to win prizes.

This year, the Summer Reading theme is "Reading by Design," which means they are celebrating everything that makes the world a more exciting place: Writing, drawing, building, inventing and more.

Keeping with the theme of design, the Bartlett Library will be creating a structure made out of canned foods. They are asking for people to bring in canned foods, for people and/or for animals, during June and July so they can use those cans to make their can-creation, which will be on display in August. Food and animal food will be donated to Hanover Township Food Pantry and Fur Keeps Animal Rescue respectfully.

Then, to kick off the Summer Reading Club, on Saturday, June 3, the Bartlett Library is hosting a program filled with yummy treats, fun crafts and great storytimes. The program will run from 1-3 p.m., with storytimes at 1 and 2 p.m.
