FORMER CHICAGO BEAR CHARLES 'PEANUT' TILLMAN

OFFICIALLY OPENS SPYRL CHICAGO GYROTONIC STUDIO

Online auction and new class sign ups to benefit Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation

HIGHLAND PARK, IL (MAY 23, 2017) - SPYRL™, Chicago's newest GYROTONIC® studio, hosted a packed ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, May 23rd in Downtown Highland Park with Highland Park Chamber of Commerce and City officials. Die-hard Gyrotonic enthusiast, former Chicago Bear Charles 'Peanut' Tillman, officially cut the ribbon and autographed footballs and photos for a suggested donation to the Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation.

Tillman discovered Gyrotonic after suffering a knee injury in 2014 and has been working with certified instructor and elite trainer, Amy Pena of SPYRL Chicago over the past two years. "I'm definitely a huge fan of Gyrotonic. After just one session, I saw significant transformation in my strength and flexibility," said Tillman. "As a professional athlete, this is by far one of my favorite workouts."

SPYRL Owner, Sharon Burack wanted to support Tillman and help raise funds for his foundation in their mission of providing opportunities and resources to thousands of critically and chronically ill children and their families.

More than $5,000 was raised for the Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation at the ribbon cutting, and SPRYL will continue to raise additional funds through the end of June. SPRYL will be donating 50 percent of all new class registrations to the foundation, and hosting an online auction with 100 percent of all proceeds benefiting the foundation. SPYRL's online auction features such items as Gyrotonic classes, sports memorabilia, autographed footballs, helmets and awesome 5th row tickets on the 35-yard line to an upcoming Bears game. The auction will be open May 30 through June 30 and can be found on Spyrl Chicago Facebook page and on www.SPYRLChicago.com.

"I'm thrilled that SPYRL is giving back to my Foundation," continued Tillman. "It's always great when you have a community that supports what we are doing to make our community better."

SPYRL is currently offering a special 3-class introductory promotion for new clients and has packages available for 5 and 10 individual or group sessions. The first class is FREE for new clients. For more information, call 847-348-0822.
