The Bartlett Library celebrates 20th anniversary of 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' book
Make sure to visit the Bartlett Library this June, as it will have you feeling as though you'd stepped right into the famed Wizarding World book. It's been 20 years since "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was first published in the United Kingdom, and the Bartlett Library is celebrating the entire month with programs, activities and prizes!
There are two adult programs to help commemorate the book's anniversary:
Harry Potter Trivia
Friday, June 23 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Is your Wizarding World knowledge on top of its game? Test it out by participating in our "Harry Potter" Trivia Night at Bannerman's Sports Grill in Bartlett. Teams of four, doors open at 6:30 p.m. (18 and over)

Book Craft -
Harry Potter Candle Holder
Sunday, June 4 at 1:00 p.m.
Using pages from "Harry Potter" books, decorate your own tea light holder (or candy jar). Registration begins May 20.
The teens will have fun this summer because there are so many programs devoted to the "Harry Potter" series:
For grades 5-12:
Wand Making
Tuesday, June 6 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Dragon heartstring, unicorn hair or phoenix feather? Stop by and create your own wand!

Harry Potter Lock-In
Friday, June 9 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Join a house and earn house points through games and trivia, all while enjoying snacks and butterbeer! Costumes are welcome!

Tuesday, June 13 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Need some liquid luck (Felix Felicis) or a truth potion (Veritaserum)? Come to our class to learn about potion making. Cauldrons not required.

Harry Potter FanFiction Writing Contest
June 1 - June 30
Submit your story (five or less pages), in person or via email, by June 30 for your chance to win prizes and be featured on our website and social media accounts! Entry forms are available at our Service Desks or our website.
