Des Plaines Park District School of Dance to Go Back in Time with Generation Dance

The Des Plaines Park District School of Dance is hosting its' 2017 recital, Generation Dance: A Journey Through Time, June 10-11 at the Prairie Lakes Theater.

The recital will feature three unique shows each day. The A show will be held at 11 a.m., the B show takes place at 2:30 p.m., and the C show will be at 6 p.m. General admission tickets for the end-of-the-year recital can be purchased online, at the Administrative and Leisure Center, or at the Prairie Lakes Community Center.

Registration for the Des Plaines Park District School of Dance's summer programs is open and the School of Dance's award-winning Artistry in Motion Dance Company is also holding auditions for the 2017-2018 season June 15 and 16 for their performance and Competition teams as well as the Rhythm in Motion Tap Company.

"It's an exciting time for the School of Dance," Cultural Arts Supervisor Nancy Suwalski said. "This recital is the culmination of all of the hard-work put in by these students during the last 9-months."
