May 26: Memorial Day Ceremony at CLC

The tenth annual College of Lake County Memorial Day ceremony will take place at noon Friday, May 26 in the A Wing Auditorium (Room A011) at the Grayslake Campus, 19351 W. Washington St. The public is invited to attend.

The keynote speaker will be Congressman Brad Schneider. Other speakers include Richard Anderson, chair of the CLC Board of Trustees. The master of ceremonies will be Mike Peck, superintendent of the Lake County Veterans Assistance Commission. Other speakers include: Eliseo Lopez, chaplain of American Legion Post 964 and member of CLC's Student Veterans Club; Jessica Lopez, president of CLC's Student Veterans Club; and Joe Bochantin, CLC's veteran student services coordinator. Jim Reynolds, a bugler from the non-profit Bugles Across America, will play taps.

Parking is available in Lot 7; enter at the A1 door and proceed to the lower level A Wing.
