Streamwood Native Receives Graduate Honors at Illinois Wesleyan University

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.- Streamwood native Kelly Mangan received the Hester Merwin Ayers Art Achievement Award during recent Commencement exercises at Illinois Wesleyan University.

The award honors outstanding achievement during four years of undergraduate study in art. Mangan graduated summa cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan May 7 with a major in art. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Kappa Pi international honorary art fraternity, and was named to the Dean's List multiple semesters at Illinois Wesleyan. She was also honored with a Gallery Award during the annual Student Juried Art Exhibition in 2016.
