Enjoy a day of diversity with Schaumburg Park District

Experience diversity in Schaumburg through music, dance, food and crafts during Multicultural Fest, sponsored by Amita Health.

Schaumburg Park District is teaming up with School District 54 to present the fest, set for 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., May 6, at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road. Participants will enjoy face painting, crafts and activities celebrating different cultures.

The event will feature local international food vendors and performances by students and professionals.

"How often do you get to see such a wide variety of cultures and experience them hands-on?" said Beth Waller, cultural arts supervisor. "There's so much talent here in the community. This is an event that grows every year."

Admission is free. Concessions will be available for purchase.
