St. Charles library offers program on memory loss May 17

One in 10 people age 65 and older has Alzheimer's dementia. Of the estimated 5.5 million Americans living with Alzheimer's dementia, approximately 5.3 million are age 65 and older.

If you or someone you know is affected by Alzheimer's disease or dementia, the Greater Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association will present "Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease" at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at the St. Charles Public Library, 1 S. Sixth Ave.

This program will provide information on detection, causes and risk factors, disease stages, treatment and much more. There will be time for a questions and answers following the presentation.
