Indian Knoll Elementary Hold's Their Annual McTeacher's Night

On Tuesday, April 25, Indian Knoll Elementary School of District 33, held their annual McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the McDonald's on North Ave in West Chicago. A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald's and then giving a percentage of the night's sales to the local school.

Twenty-Seven teachers and staff members from the school worked including Principal Tapia. The McTeacher's jobs included greeting guests, working the front counter, cleaning the lobby, working the drive-thru, and serving ice cream. All which were executed with huge smiles on all the faces.

The Indian Knoll McTeacher's Night was a fun way to bring the elementary teachers together and have the opportunity to meet the parents of students and members of the community, all while raising funds for the school. The students enjoyed tipping their teachers over and over, the teachers had to sing the McDonald's Theme song each time they were tipped.

The PTO plans to use the money raised for their General funds to be used towards various student and staff needs.

Special thank you goes out to Melissa Kud, PTO, for coordinating the entire event. As well as everyone that worked and attended this event.
