Naperville Park District to Host Atwater Park Playground Open House on May 9

The Naperville Park District invites residents to help select equipment for a new playground development planned for Atwater Park, located on Capeside Drive in northwest Naperville. Atwater Park will serve the new subdivision being developed on the former Country Lakes Golf Course property.

The Park District will host an open house meeting on Tuesday, May 9 from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at the Park District Planning and Development Office at 425 W. Jackson Avenue. Parents are encouraged to bring their children and may come at any time during the given time period. There will not be a formal presentation.

"Each playground design offers several variations, including color, types of slides, and layout of equipment. We invite parents and children who will use the playground to help make these choices," said Project Manager Jessica Burgdorf.
