St. Charles Arts Council names artists for fifth annual Student Art Gallery Show

The St. Charles Arts Council has announced the artists whose work will be shown in its inaugural pop-up galleries at Pheasant Run Resort, 4051 E. Main St. in St. Charles. The opening reception will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 28, in the resort's Bourbon Street area. The gallery is hosted jointly by the arts council and Pheasant Run Resort.

These artists will have their work in the street and loft pop-up galleries at Pheasant Run: Guy J. Bellaver, Lisa Bessler, Len Bielefeldt, Tony Carnesecchi, Berenice Cruz, Teresa Danna-Harbaugh, Albert DaValle, Barbara Eberhard, Shari Emme, Claudia Frost, Gabriela Guganovic, Dan Jarodsky, Robert Krawczyk, Deanna Krueger, Kathi Kuchler, Lance Long, Linda Marquis, Barbara Mueller, Connie Olmstead, Mary Preistler, Sherry Pritz, Diana Rabinovich, Felicia Raschke, Linda Roxe, Mary Ellen Segraves, Carole Sluski, Nanette B. Stephens, Shane Stewart, Kasia Szczesniewski, Atala Dorothy Toy, Anita Wolff and Fred F. Zinke.

Before or after the reception, the St. Charles Arts Council suggests that gallery-goers consider dining in the new Harvest, featuring the culinary art of their farm-to-fork upscale dining, or one of the other excellent bars and cafes throughout the resort.

The Loft and Street Galleries will be open from April 28 through May 28. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays, and noon to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
