St. Catherine of Siena to host Spring Fling Dinner and Dance May 6

Put on your green and celebrate spring with a few things Irish in-between at the "Spring Fling Dinner and Dance" from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at the St. Catherine of Siena School gym, 845 W. Main St. in West Dundee.

Enjoy an evening filled with a variety of food, music, dance and song.

Live Irish entertainment will be provided by Chicago's finest: Gerry Haughey and Friends, the Mayer School of Irish Dance, the Cunningham Family Bag Pipes and more. Enjoy a delicious traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner from Emmett's Tavern in West Dundee with an optional chicken or vegetarian dish available upon request. Raffles and prizes also will be held throughout the night.

Proceeds benefit St. Catherine of Siena School and Parish.

The Irish line-up of events for the evening, include social hour, cash bar and appetizers at 6 p.m., dinner followed by Irish dessert at 7 p.m and Irish Step Dancers, music and dancing at 8 p.m.
