Des Plaines Chautauqua Arts Festival Coming May 13th
The Des Plaines Art Guild, Park Ridge Art League and Shift2Green organizations will host the Des Plaines Chautauqua Arts Festival on May 13th at the Historic Methodist Campground, 1900 E. Algonquin Road in Des Plaines between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Artists from local art groups, as well as from other communities, will be participating in the art fair on the grounds of the scenic campground which was established in 1867. A variety of mediums are represented, including mixed media, oils, watercolors and acrylics, along with sculpture, fiber, printmaking, jewelry and ceramics. There will be a food vendor and other entertainment.
