More H1N1 vaccine ready in McHenry County

The McHenry County Department of Health is offering injectable H1N1 vaccinations for priority groups from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Dr., Algonquin.

Priority groups include pregnant women, caregivers of infants younger than six months old, children and adults ages 4 to 24, those 25 to 64 with a chronic health condition, health care workers and first responders.

Pregnant women should call (815) 334-2800 to make an appointment, or go to mcdh.info.

The department of health also has appointments remaining for an H1N1 clinic from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, at McHenry County College, 8900 Route 14, Crystal Lake. Visit mcdh.info for the latest information and to schedule an appointment.
