ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands -- Will Walker scored 25 points to lead DePaul to a 58-51 victory over Saint Joseph's on Monday night in the third-place game at the Paradise Jam.

Walker scored the final five points of the first half as DePaul took a 34-24 lead.

The Hawks (3-2) closed within 45-44 on a jumper by Idris Hilliard with 7:47 left, and the game was tied at 49 with just under 3 minutes left when Darrin Govins of Saint Joseph's made two of three free throws.

Devin Hill gave the Blue Demons the lead for good with a jumper with 50 seconds left.

Govens had 16 points for the Hawks.
