Regarding Charles Krauthammer's editorial comments on Nov. 3 that President Obama should stop blaming Bush for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and take ownership of his yearlong drift.

First, I didn't know that President Obama took office on Nov. 3, 2008; a year ago. Second, as little attention paid to the war in Afghanistan by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and Rove for seven-plus years it is hard to believe that Krauthammer would even broach the subject. I guess he wants President Obama to be like Bush and invade Syria or Jordan since Bush already took care of Iraq. Oh, you say, Syria or Jordan had nothing to do with 9-11? Well, neither did Iraq.

I would rather have a president stop and think about a strategy and develop a plan rather than fly by the seat of his pants and have us still in two wars eight years later.

I guess Krauthammer is just not used to a thinking president after what we suffered through under Bush.
