Run Saturday in memory of Fremd grad

The Hoofin' 4 Hardy 5K will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Birchwood Park, 435 W. Illinois Ave., Palatine. The 5K run and two-mile walk is held in memory of Palatine resident and 2006 Fremd graduate Joshua Jared Hardy. Funds raised will support scholarships for Fremd athletes at the University of Illinois business school. $25 in advance; $30 race day. To register, signmeup.com/66742.
