Thank goodness things can get done in this country without the help of "some people," like my Representative, Peter Roskam. The vote for the Affordable Health Care for America Act was a step toward getting health care coverage for people who don't have it and cannot get it.

I have friends and family in that category. I feel terrible that I cannot afford to help them out myself. Rep. Roskam, have you ever figured out the valued added to your healthy salary by your health benefits? What would happen if you lost everything? Could you still afford it? Why shouldn't other Americans have access to the kind of coverage members of Congress have or something?

Times are changing, even in DuPage County. Your constituents voted for Obama. You still have the chance to do the right thing for us. Please do so. We are watching.
