A private security guard at Grayslake North High School is being held on $150,000 bond after officials said he solicited lewd photographs of a student.

Lake County Assistant State's Attorney Stephen Scheller said Christopher Bosak, 25, also is accused of telling the student he was a police officer to further his influence over the girl.

Scheller said police were called to the campus Friday when a compact disc containing lewd photographs of the girl were found on a computer in the school's computer lab.

The 16-year-old girl was interviewed by police, Scheller said, and told them that Bosak had told her he was a police officer and wanted photographs of her naked.

Scheller said Bosak, of Salem, Wis., admitted that he had been giving the girl a ride home from school and that she had sent him one lewd photograph that he had kept on his cell phone for a few days before deleting it.

Bosak also told police he had kissed the girl a few times, touched her inappropriately and grabbed a necklace she was wearing one day at the school.

Bosak is charged with child pornography, impersonating a police officer, battery and disorderly conduct, Scheller said.

Associate Judge Nancy Waites set Bosak's bond on Saturday, Scheller said, and ordered him to appear in court again Nov. 25.

Bosak faces as much as 15 years in prison if convicted, Scheller said.
