Elgin

• Someone shot a pellet gun into a home in the 600 block of Wellington Avenue Thursday evening, leaving holes in several windows. Reports said four panes of glass measuring 20 inches by 16 inches, as well as one pane of glass measuring 16 inches by 6 inches, were damaged.

• An Elgin woman told police that someone on Oct. 26 made a pair of unauthorized charges to her bank card totaling $179.80. Police reports said the charges were made to a business in Madrid, Spain.

• A GPS system was reported stolen out of a 1997 Toyota Camry parked in the 400 block of Gladstone Court between Wednesday and Thursday. Police said the suspect entered the car by prying under the driver's side window, shattering it.

• A concrete slab was thrown into the rear window of a 2003 Toyota Camry parked in the 1000 block of Leawood Drive between Wednesday and Thursday, reports said.
