Comments:

The Friends of the Glen Ellyn Library would like to express its support for the library's proposed bond issuance and tax levy increase in order to finance much-needed building repairs and establish a fund for ongoing maintenance.

We believe these are fiscally responsible measures that will stem additional, costly deterioration to the library's physical structure and allow the library to continue to be a safe and comfortable environment for its patrons.

As active fundraisers on behalf of the library, we are attentive to how the library spends its resources. We agree that the library is responding prudently to this critical situation, and we ask residents to join us in supporting these measures.

president, Friends of the Glen Ellyn Library
