The Elgin Experience monthly movie meeting will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10 at the Marcus Theatre, off Randall Road in Elgin. Doors open at 9:15 a.m.

The Elgin Experience at Elgin State Bank will welcome guest speaker George B. Haupt, former Guard of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington Cemetery. He will share facts and experiences from his time proudly served, as guard of Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. There will be a special tribute to all veterans.

The Elgin Experience meeting is for those age 50 and older. Membership is not required to attend, so bring along a friend. The fee is $2 per person, which includes coffee, tea, doughnut, the chance to win a door prize, and seeing a first-run movie. Instead of a first-run movie, you may also choose to view the special presentation of the classic 1950 film, "Sands of Iwo Jima." For information, call Kimberly Knes at Elgin State Bank at (847) 888-7979.

The Elgin Experience is a service of Elgin State Bank for customers, age 50 and older who maintain specific accounts at the bank. Membership includes banking advantages along with social and entertainment opportunities. Free, at-cost or discounted trips, seminars and publications are also part of membership benefits.
