On Friday, Oct. 2, Schaumburg's DART Bus Transit System celebrated 30 years of service to the community. Schaumburg's signature transit service has evolved over the years into one of the few community-operated bus services in Chicagoland, providing door-to-door access to any location in Schaumburg.

Since its inception, DART has provided over 2.2 million rides with approximately 80,000 rides expected through the end of this year.

Service runs 6 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m.on Saturdays. There is no service on Sundays or holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
