Evanston playwright Alan Gross and director Steven Robman debut Gross' semi-autobiographical, coming-of-age comedy about a Jewish family in north suburban Chicago rocked to their core when the oldest college student son reveals unorthodox ideas about his future. • A tragedy threatens to splinter a family until an Elvis impersonator shows up to make things right in Deborah Zoe Laufer's "End Days," in its Chicago area premiere at Next Theatre.
