A single-vehicle crash in Inverness sent two men to the hospital Sunday.

About 3:30 p.m., the vehicle was traveling on Palatine Road just west of Roselle Road when it left the road and struck several trees, according to Palatine Rural Fire Protection District Lt. Scott Mohr.

Two of the three men in the vehicle were taken to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights with nonlife-threatening injuries and have since been released.

Michael Daviero, 21, of 624 Stephen Drive, Palatine, has been charged with reckless driving, failure to reduce speed and improper lane usage.

Palatine Road was closed for about an hour.

The Palatine Fire Department assisted at the scene.
