Knee injury sidelines Sky's Wyckoff for rest of season
Chicago Sky forward Brooke Wyckoff is not expected to return this season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury on Friday, team officials said Monday.
Wyckoff, who did not travel with the team for Sunday's loss against the New York Liberty, injured her knee in Friday's win against the Liberty at the UIC Pavilion.
Selected by the Sky in the 2005 WNBA Expansion Draft, Wyckoff has started in 23 of the Sky's 27 games this season averaging 3.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
