Police and rescue crews this morning scoured Meacham Grove Forest Preserve near Roselle for several hours.

They were searching for the body of a woman believed to be missing out of Hanover Park, authorities said. It's unclear whether the woman's death was accidental in nature or a suicide.

Dozens of police and emergency vehicles lined the roadway around the entrance to the forest preserve, which is located along Circle Avenue. The entrance itself was closed.

Water rescue teams, K-9 units and firefighters from several communities, including Schaumburg, Bloomingdale and Rolling Meadows, helped with the search.

Crews started leaving the site around 11:30 a.m. Authorities said they believe a body was recovered. It's unclear where the body was found.
