Ousted Gov. Rod Blagojevich's former chief fundraiser been ordered to pay more than $200,000 in restitution for hiding his use of company money to pay gambling debts.

Contractor Christopher Kelly pleaded guilty Jan. 16 to claiming the payments as business expenses on his tax returns.

The 50-year-old Kelly was sentenced June 22 to three years in prison and fined $7,500.

Prosecutors had asked Judge Elaine Bucklo to order $554,702.80 in restitution while defense attorney Michael Monico proposed $211,942.

The government this week agreed to to lower figure.

Kelly still faces two other indictments including charges of scheming with Blagojevich to illegally squeeze potential campaign contributors for money.
