Three men are facing aggravated child pornography charges resulting from separate undercover Internet stings in Wheaton.
In each case, Detective Andrew Uhlir uncovered suspicious movies and photos of children, some as young as infants, engaged in sex acts.
A forensic examination of the suspects' seized computers later confirmed the detective's suspicions, leading to the felony charges.
William C. Ahart pleaded not guilty Wednesday while arraigned before DuPage Circuit Judge Blanche Hill Fawell. The 27-year-old Schaumburg man, formerly of Carol Stream, is free on a $100,000 bond. Police arrested him May 17.
In later unrelated stings, Michael C. Lombardo, 22, and Joel L. Hethcoat, 23, both of Villa Park, remained Wednesday in the DuPage County jail on $300,000 bonds after their arrests last week. The men, who must post the required 10 percent bail to be released, face court appearances later this month in Wheaton.
