Sunrise Senior Living, a provider of senior living services, is expected to open a senior living community later this month at 2210 Fountain Square Drive, Lombard.

The new four-story, 168,000-square-foot Sunrise at Fountain Square, is at 2210 Fountain Square Drive. This is the 25th Sunrise community in the area and the first to offer independent living, assisted living and memory care all in one setting. The Terrace Club is geared toward offering cognitively stimulating programs to those in the earlier stages of Alzheimer's disease and memory loss.

Amenities at the facility include, restaurant-style dining, health and wellness programs, library and computer room, landscaped patios, gardens and outdoor areas, recreational activities, salon, spa, art studio and more.

More than 80 people will be employed at the new rental community.

"The key differentiating factors of Sunrise at Fountain Square include the fact that we offer a wide variety of service levels under one roof -- coupled with the distinctive memory care programs," said Executive Director Mark Blau.

Other area Sunrise Senior Living communities can be found in Arlington Heights, Barrington, Glen Ellyn, Gurnee, Hoffman Estates, Naperville, Prospect Heights, Schaumburg, ST. Charles and Wheaton. The McLean, Va.-based company operates 411 communities in the U.S., Canada, Germany and United Kingdom.
