Former Illinois first lady Patti Blagojevich says she swears less than her friends despite the numerous expletives she uses in secretly wiretapped conversations.

Blagojevich told MSNBC Thursday that viewers of reality show "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here" will expect her to use obscenities. But she says they'll be disappointed.

Blagojevich spoke from Costa Rica, where the NBC series is being filmed.

Patti Blagojevich was recorded on federal wiretaps spouting profanity-laced tirades. Prosecutors used the recordings to indict ousted Gov. Rod Blagojevich on federal corruption charges. She hasn't been accused of wrongdoing.

Former NBA star John Salley appeared alongside Blagojevich Thursday and praised her determination to be on the show.
