Schaumburg police Friday confirmed that four recent convenient store armed robberies are connected.

All four involved a man entering a convenient store, pointing a gun at a clerk and demanding a plastic bag to be filled with money. Police have video of one of the heists.

Police describe the suspect as around 5-feet 8-inches tall with a medium build, between 20 to 25 years old with black hair and brown eyes. They say he drove away from the scene in a black mid-sized vehicle with Illinois license plates. Previously police described that car as being a newer model, possibly a Chrysler.

The first robbery happened around 4 a.m. July 10 on the 1900 block of West Golf Road. The second was shortly before 9 a.m. Aug. 9 on the 2300 block of West Bode Road. The third was sometime after 4 a.m. on the 0-100 block of South Meacham Road. The most recent robbery happened around 3:40 a.m. Monday on the 1100 block of South Springinsguth Road.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (847) 882-3534.
