The Dundee-Crown Athletic Hall of Fame announced six new inductees Wednesday night. They will be inducted at the Golf Club of Illinois on Saturday, Sept. 20 and introduced at D-C's football game against Grayslake Central the previous night.

Following are the inductees:

• Scott Komaromy. The 2001 graduate competed in football, basketball and baseball and was the Daily Herald's Male Athlete of the Year for 2000-01. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where he lettered in baseball all 4 years, and he has served his country in Iraq. An academic all-American, Komaromy is currently a Captain in the U.S. Army serving at Fort Richardson in Alaska.

• Fred Bencriscutto. Retiring at the end of the season, "Coach Ben" has served D-C the past 18 years as the school's head baseball coach. He has won over 300 games and taken two Chargers teams to the IHSA Elite Eight. He is also a recent inductee to the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

• John Skillman. A past president of Crown High School's Booster Club, Skillman has been a part of the school community since 1957 and has been the only timer D-C football has ever had. He is also a former Carpentersville Chief of Police and a past president of the District 300 board of education.

• Bill Dobler. A former all-state basketball player, Dobler is a 1946 Dundee graduate who played for the legendary Eugene deLacey. He played at Bradley in 1947 but died that year in an auto accident.

• Allison Jozsi-Handley. A 1989 D-C graduate, she was a two-time Fox Valley Conference Swimmer of the Year and a three-time state qualifier who swam collegiately at Yale University.

• Joe Falese Jr. A 1974 Dundee graduate, Falese was a three-sport all-conference athlete who went on to play and coach baseball at Lewis University, where he now works as an administrator.
