Clubhouse Chatter: Best sports city besides Chicago
What our Sports staff has to say while waiting for the games to resume.
I have to go with Denver. Been there for Rockies games and the atmosphere in the downtown area is incredible. So much fun. And the Denver area treats youth sports like gold.

I always thought Philadelphia was as honest as it gets. Fans are realistic and demanding. Unlike so many sports towns, they don't expect praise when criticism is warranted.

New York? No way. Too obnoxious. Los Angeles? Nope. Too laid-back. Philadelphia? Ha! Good one. Boston? I could see that. This may turn some heads, but I'm going with Green Bay. The way everyone gets behind their Packers is awfully impressive. If you've never been to a game, I would highly recommend it.

Haven't really thought of it, but I'll nominate Boston as the best sports town outside of Chicago. It's recently enjoyed much success but like Chicago also was in long-suffering mode. It's got all the main sports covered including an Original Six hockey team.

Boston. The fan base is passionate, all four major sports teams have unique histories and the marathon is targeted by runners worldwide.

Yankee Stadium. Ebbets Field. Shea Stadium. Madison Square Garden. Polo Grounds. I'll go with the greater metropolitan area of New York. Just the New York Yankees' tradition is enough for me to select the Big Apple for my best sports city.

Boston. Lots of history with the Red Sox and Celtics and a perennial winner in the Patriots.
