Bulls included on NBA's opening week schedule release

The Bulls were included on the list of nationally televised games for the NBA's opening week. They'll play at Philadelphia on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. on TNT. The full regular-season schedule is set to be released Friday, so it's not clear yet if this game will be the Bulls' season opener.

The Bulls were given just one national TV appearance last year on ESPN when Jimmy Butler returned to the United Center with Minnesota. The Bulls did not appear on TNT at all last season. Already, the Bulls know of two national TV games - this one at Philadelphia and the Mexico City game against Orlando on Dec. 13.

Opening night on Tuesday, Oct. 16, will feature two games on TNT - Philadelphia at Boston, followed by Oklahoma City at Golden State. The second TNT game on Oct. 18 will be LeBron James' first regular-season game with the Los Angeles Lakers at Portland. James' home debut against Houston follows two days later on ESPN.

The Christmas Day slate includes five games - Milwaukee at New York, Oklahoma City at Houston, Philadelphia at Boston, Lakers at Golden State and Portland at Utah.
