Girls soccer: King's 100th career goal leads Burlington Central

Burlington Central's Jordan King met a huge milestone in style Monday during an 11-0 Kishwaukee River win over Johnsburg Monday.

King hit the 100 career goal mark and recorded 2 hat tricks, as her 3 first half assists were followed by 3 goals, two in the first half as well. Zoey Kollhoff also had a hat trick of goals as well for the Rockets (14-2, 9-0) and Megan Majewski topped 2 goals and a hat trick of assists as well. Maddie Menke, Erin Rafferty and Isa Hartmann (1 assist) also added goals while Makenna Cobb and Kara Drummond provided 1 assist each. Rafferty also made 1 save in net for a shutout.

St. Charles East 3, Oswego 0: In nonconference action, the duo of Emma Blakenship and Kayla Villa were too tough to stop. Blankenship scored twice and Villa assisted twice for the Saints (10-4-4) while Margaret Harper scored off a Megan Stout assist. Goalie Grace Griffin recorded her 10th shutout overall with 3 saves.

Elgin 3, Lake Park 1: Morelia Gonzalez scored twice in this nonconference win for the Maroons (9-7-1), Nathalia Garfias also scored 1 goal while Gudalupe Sanchez, Hayly Munoz and Brittany Dazzo all had assists. Keeper Joana Mercado recorded 5 saves.

Aurora Central 5, Ridgewood 0: Alexa Orozco had a hat trick of unassisted goals and 1 assist in a shutout win for the Chargers (10-6-2). Anna Dudziak provided 2 goals while keeper Alex Montalbano had 5 saves.
